Brett Guerra has been a dedicated artist since 1999. The call to create has urged him forward since he was a child. From tinker toys, inventions, and epic toy battles to painting, tattooing and sculpting, the modes of creation have changed, and perhaps the man himself. As a artistic youth Brett took solace in dark and evil subject matter or anything he could outwardly convey his black sheep thoughts and feelings. With much time, experimentation, failure, success, frustration, and help from a few close friends along the way, Brett has and continues to refine his skills as a creator. By day Brett earns his lively hood tattooing full time at his shop Abstract Tattoo. By night he occupies his studio. Four to seven nights a week Brett can be found sculpting, painting, drawing tattoos, doing digital illustrations and freelance work.
Brett has the honor of working along side a group of friends who are all artists in their own right and to whom he credits with helping shape him as a artist.
